Delicatessen
The delicatessen at Melanzana offers a range of fine Italian products and freshly made food items from our kitchen to eat in or take-away. We also cater for private parties at your home or business and are happy to discuss any special requests, just ask!
What you can find in the grocery section at the Melanzana Delicatessen :
Olive oils : Suitable for all palates and price ranges. We can also introduce you to our own Melanzana Olive oil which is from the Catania region of Sicily, is 100% organic and has been pressed exclusively for Melanzana.
Condiments : We offer a range that includes Balsamic vinegars through to Truffle oils.
Artisanal breads : Baked in wood fired ovens and delivered fresh daily, our bread range includes Sour dough, Spelt, Olive, Sun-dried Tomato, Walnut Raisin and the classic Ciabatta.
Seasonal quality fruit and vegetables : sourced from various regions of Italy.
General : Choose from a range of pastas (including Spelt), biscuits, dried legumes and pulses, sauces, jams and honey, and much more!
What you can find at the Melanzana Delicatessen Counter :
The Deli counter offers a superb selection of Italian cold-cut meats and cheeses.
Meats include : Parma and Serrano hams, Bresaola and Pancetta, Coppa and Lardo, Prosciutto Cotto, Prosciutto Cotto with Herbs or with Truffle, Porchetta and Mordella with Pistachio and Wild Boar. There is also fresh Italian sausage and salami, including Smoked Venison, Wild Boar and Chilli.
Our extensive cheese range includes: Pecorino with Pistachio, Provolone Piccante, Taleggio, Gorgonzola, Smoked Scamorza, Parmigiano and Mozzarella di Bufala.
Antipasti Selection:
This selection incorporates prepared Olives with Herbs, Chilli and Mediterranean spices, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and anchovies marinated in Olive oil, plus home-made Pesto and Pasta sauces to use at home.
We also prepare our own Grilled Vegetables, Lasagne, Melanzana Parmigiana, Meatballs, Stuffed Peppers, Chicken Escalope, Soup, Pizza and Focaccia.

What you can find in the Melanzana Off-licence:
The off-licence provides an excellent selection of Italian White and Red wines, beers and Prosecco. You can also find a range of Italian liqueurs and soft drinks.
